Can this turf be used outside? In a batting and infield netted cage?
The ProMounds Stadium Padded Turf is designed for indoor use only.
Outside: It is not recommended for permanent outdoor use. The foam padding absorbs water like a sponge, which leads to mildew, rotting, and a very heavy, waterlogged carpet.
In a Netted Cage: * If Indoors: It is an excellent choice and can be laid directly over concrete.
If Outdoors: You should avoid it. Look for unpadded turf with "perforated backing" so rain can drain through it.
