The TAP™ Massage Roller is an excellent tool to promote flexibility and Myofascial Release. Fascia is the soft tissue component of the connective tissue that provides support and protection for structures within the human body, including muscle. When this soft tissue becomes restricted due to overuse the result can be pain, muscle tension, and diminished blood flow.

While the high density foam rollers are excellent tools for Myofascial Release, they are most effective on the muscles and tissues that are closer to the surface of the body. The TAP™ Massage Roller, because of its surface protrusions, can affect deeper tissues and provides a unique way to provide more targeted relief from pain and soreness associated with athletic activity.

Using the TAP™ Massage Roller, with its surface of firm protrusions, makes it possible to target difficult to reach areas as the athlete decides how much pressure to apply. Using body weight the user determines the penetration of the flexible peaks providing a firm self-massage.
